4. Background Checks
Enhanced DBS check (England/Wales) or PVG (Scotland)
DBS/PVG registered and up to date
Overseas police checks (if applicable)
5. Mandatory Training (In Date)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Manual Handling
Infection Prevention & Control
Safeguarding Adults & Children
Fire Safety
Health & Safety
Equality & Diversity
Conflict Resolution
6. Clinical Competency
Skills checklist completed and signed
Role-specific competencies (e.g. IV therapy, medication administration)
Clinical experience matches assignment requirements
7. Occupational Health
Occupational health clearance
Immunisation status (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, TB, etc.)
Fit to work declaration

Valid Professional Indemnity Insurance (if required)
